Meet the Founders
What started as a casual conversation on a hike in the Catskills quickly became a shared recognition and desire to change the way capital flows.
Our paths had placed us on opposite sides of the table. Julia from within the world of family office investing, and Lexi as a founder navigating the realities of raising capital in a world that rewards posture over presence. But through open, honest conversation, we found ourselves describing the same frustrations and the same hope — that it doesn't have to work this way.
We spoke about what it feels like to raise capital as a values-led founder within systems that weren't designed for you. And what it looks like to deploy and steward wealth with intention, often within structures that haven't fully evolved.
We shared a belief: that ambition and values belong together. That capital, when aligned, creates companies that are both successful and meaningful.
Sage Collective was born from that belief. To connect founders with aligned capital. To help families steward wealth with purpose. And to show that how you do it matters as much as what you accomplish.
Who We Are…
MEET JULIA
Julia Paliare is a Founding and Managing Partner of Sage Collective.
Her career has spanned all sides of the capital landscape — from Providence Equity Partners and Scotiabank to leading investments at the family office of Ronald S. Lauder, where she deployed capital on behalf of three generations into tech-enabled companies across health, climate, consumer, and fintech.
She also launched The Equity Alliance, a fund of funds backing diverse emerging managers in partnership with five founding families. Seeing how capital decisions ripple across generations — and how much changes when different voices get access — shaped her belief that this work is deeply personal.
Becoming a mother strengthened that conviction. It was within her partnership with the Lauder Zinterhofer family that the first version of Sage took root.
That work has since evolved into the full vision of Sage Collective alongside Lexi. Julia is also a co-founder of BLDRS, a global community of investors and entrepreneurs. A CFA Charterholder with a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University, she has lived in Switzerland, Singapore, and London.
Originally from Toronto, she recently moved to Manhattan Beach with her husband and daughter after fifteen years in New York City.

Lexi Miles Corrin is a Founding and Managing Partner of Sage Collective. Her perspective is shaped by her own experience as a founder — she built and sold WAXON Laser + Waxbar, a national franchise, in 2025, a journey that deepened her conviction around ownership, disciplined growth, and aligned capital.
While deeply committed to expanding women's participation as both founders and investors, Lexi supports builders more broadly in creating high-impact, values-driven companies.
A mother of four, she brings a grounded and holistic lens to leadership and believes that when women share openly and support one another, stronger companies and communities follow.
Through practical frameworks and a perspective on wealth rooted in joy, purpose, and abundance, she champions businesses that generate both financial return and meaningful impact.
